Mango Avenue
Frij recently got back from Cebu (again), it was a 3 day visit all in the name of work, work and more work.....with a few fun on the side.
August 2 (Wednesday)
Got on a 10:00Am flight bound to Cebu. There were only a few passengers so Frij had the option of seeking a vacant three seater and lying flat on his back. In flight game got him guessing a musical tune and eventually winning a nifty cellphone holder. This was the first flight in which Frij NEVER felt the plane touch the runaway upon landing! Awesome!

August 2 (Wednesday)
Got on a 10:00Am flight bound to Cebu. There were only a few passengers so Frij had the option of seeking a vacant three seater and lying flat on his back. In flight game got him guessing a musical tune and eventually winning a nifty cellphone holder. This was the first flight in which Frij NEVER felt the plane touch the runaway upon landing! Awesome!
Check in at The Paladium "Service Sucks" Suites:
- Door card doesn't work, he had to ask the front desk for someone to accompany him to open the door, EVERYTIME!
- No HOT water!!! Could you imagine drenching yourself in freezing water just to get that daily shower? Well Frij couldn't, he had to take the shower near noon.
On the honest side though:
- They had 6 coat hangers (a real surprise for a pitiful hotel).
- The suite was next to Mango Square, one huge dining and booze mall (lots of Koreans, I guess its one of those seasons) so dining and having fun wasn't a problem.
- One huge internet cafe (probably 200 seaters) was right on the corner. Frij got a taste of what Cebu DotA players were like, and they were tasty, kill after kill after kill. Not much of a surprise there.
So what we basically have is a retarded crib on top of a beautiful hill. One could live with it.
Onsite, he was greeted by Gorgeous J, Miss Janice. A few briefing on the office setup then it was all work from there. How gorgeous one may ask? Hmm....

August 3 (Thursday)
Lunch at Persian Palate at the Ayala Center with Miss J and Jeff, a couple of kebab and rice then drowned with avocado shake before another work aggravation. Frij finally completed the office setup, site was online before shift ended.
Cabling contractor then treated him out to dinner at City Grill, a cook-me-a-seafood restaurant. You get to pick the seafood of your choice and how you want it prepared, all fresh (supposedly) until the allergy attack came in late that night. Frij, was red all over and itching. He had to call home and ask the doc how to handle the situation. Good thing he thought of flushing the f***er with H2O, so after a few hours of observation, he fell asleep naked.
August 4 (Friday)
Nothing much on this day since work was completed a day in advance. Frij waited for J to finish off her morning work and needed to check if everything was smoothly running. They had lunch at a chinese restaurant inside SM Cebu (his first time in SM).
And there he gets to know more about the 20 some some gorgeous lady who's parents drops her off to work and has a strict curfew rule. Whoa! Talk about Conservative Cebu. At this point you would realize that Frij will cease to elaborate as the succeeding FAQs tend to be comically inspired.
His flight back to Manila was delayed for 3 hours due to weather conditions. Planes are so afraid of the rain nowadays that it has been decades since his last rainy flight.
He got home at 12:00AM and was preparing for the CISCO training coming in 8 hours.....Life.
